OC-Kalamalka Campus Program Open House, Tuesday November 8, 2011 (4:30-6:30 pm) in the Cafeteria Learn about programs and student services offered at OC-Kalamalka Campus , this event is for students, parents and adult learners, who are interested in going back to school, the types of programs offered at OC, and of advisory and or support services available for students. Apply at the OC Open house and the $30.00 application fee will be waived and enter to win a $500.00 tuition voucher.

BC Aboriginal Provincial RIFLE SHOOTING Camp
--- INTRODUCTION TO RIFLE SHOOTING ---
OCTOBER 22-23, 2011
Kamloops, BC
Hosted by Tk'emlups (Kamloops) Indian Band
Held in partnership with BC Target Sports Association (BCTSA), this Development Camp is an opportunity for Aboriginal (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) youth ages 10-19 to learn and experience the sport of RIFLE SHOOTING in a safe and controlled environment working with BCTSA's top instructors. No equipment necessary. No experience necessary.
A sport relying upon accuracy and precision, this is a rare opportunity to gain experience and exposure to this shooting sport and develop new skills. Thanks to the support of our partners, including the Province of BC and Nike Inc., the cost of this 2-day camp is just $30! Meals included. Free accommodation available. Equipment provided. Nike N7 Camp t-shirt. Quality instruction.

A NCCP Level 1 Technical Coaching course will be held in conjunction with the 2011 BC Aboriginal Provincial Rifle Camp October 22-23, 2011 in Kamloops, BC. This course is offered to those candidates who wish to gain knowledge and experience as a Coach in the sport of Competitive shooting. In support of Aboriginal coaching development in BC and thanks to the support of the Province of BC, the Aboriginal Sport, Recreation & Physical Activity Partners Council is pleased to sponsor the course registration fee for individuals of Aboriginal ancestry (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) who wish to participate in this course.
