 2011 Young Entrepreneurs Symposium- BC

 

Almost a month away and space is filling up quickly! We do not have a deadline this year for registration instead we have limited space! Register now to secure your spot or email me your interest.  We've put together "Sponsor a Delegate" packages for each region of BC. We encourage all the budding entrepreneurs to take this to their First Nation or Organization and gain sponsorship that way.  

New Relationship Trust will be hosting YES-BC held on November 30th- December 1st at the Renaissance Harbourside Hotel in Vancouver BC for BC First Nations!

 

Young Entrepreneurs Symposium-BC will be an electrifying event where young 19 – 30 year old aspiring entrepreneurs from all over British Columbia come together for an intense, fun 2-day event!

Delegates will be placed into teams and work in business related challenges. Focus will be on business fundamentals as well as innovative thinking. Delegates will be able to hear from experienced,

successful business people that are there to share their knowledge.

If you have a son, daughter, sibling, niece or nephew who will be entering post-secondary soon, you are invited to the College Prep 101 for Parents, Thursday November 3, 2011 , OC-Kalamalka Campus, Lecture Theatre Room D310 at 6:30 pm.  

This session will provided essential information on the post-secondary system in B.C., Parents will learn

·         The difference between a community college, a university and a technical institution

·         When and how students' should apply and an outline of the general application process

·         How to assist students in accessing scholarships & bursaries

·         The process of applying for student loans

·         About dual credit and concurrent enrollment process.

OC-Kalamalka Campus Program Open House, Tuesday November 8, 2011 (4:30-6:30 pm) in the Cafeteria

Learn about programs and student services offered at OC-Kalamalka Campus , this event is for students, parents and adult learners, who are interested in going back to school,  the types of programs offered at OC, and of advisory and or support services available for students.

Apply at the OC Open house and the $30.00 application fee will be waived and enter to win a $500.00 tuition voucher.

 

Also, if you are an adult learner and have considered going back to school and don't know where to start, attend the Adult Learner Seminar  where you can learn more about course and program options, short-term programs and receive information on scholarships, bursaries and financial aid at the OC-Kalamalka Campus Adult Learner Seminar, Thursday November 17th, 2011 at 5 pm in Room D314 (Success Room)
