Spring 2011

Welcome back and Happy New Year!

Our First Friday Night Drop in is scheduled for this Friday Jan 14 after school.
Come hang out, play pool, work on some art work, play some games and have your voice
heard during our Input session! What do you want to do with Sookinchoot?

at the Rec Centre. Our very own Clara is running! As well mark Feb 3rd down to attend the 2011 Queen Silver Star Proclaimation!

Emily Carr has an amazing opportunity for young artists. Feb 11 2011 is the deadline to apply for a scholarship to attend Emily Carr's one month summer teen workshop in Vancouver.

Feb 21st will begin our first Hand Drumming session with Bernice Jensen. Bernice will be sharing some of the songs she's been gifted with Sook youth. Drums are limited so register now. Bring your own if you have one

Media Club is looking for members. Any youth interested in Film Making, Documentaries, film screenings, multi-media arts is welcome to register. Currently we are planning a winter home shoot. Come be part of something great!
